Is this normal scabbing after electrolysis. It was my first time and I did a 30minute session. This is two days later. The white specs are aloe vera I’ve been applying.
Also I forgot to ask them, would it be okay to put on makeup 4 days after treatment?
Scabbing like this is fine on the body, but I prefer to not see any scabbing on the face. If there is any scabbing, smaller is better. You should let them fall off on their own, which takes up to two weeks. You won’t see any long term issues from this level of scabbing in this particular location, but a skilled electrologist will tend to avoid it on the face because it makes clients anxious.
You can continue with a moisturiser or aloe and be gentle to not rub them off. You can wear makeup the next day after a treatment as long as everything is healing normally.
Speak with your electrologist, show her this image, and ask for her thoughts. Are you only treating the side of your face or other areas on your face too?
