Non chain clinic in South CA

Hello all,
I’m seriously looking for a laser hair practitioner in south CA. I live in Irvine area since a lot unsatisfied stories are from large chain clinic, I’m looking for a non chain clinic. Has anybody experience or heard of

“Saddleback Dermatology & Laser Center”,
“Cosmetic Laser Center of Irvine”
“Laser Touch Medical Clinic”

I’m starting to narrow down to these 3 clinics. (Those clinics uses light seer)
If there is any referral or personal experience from these click please let me know!!

are you light-skinned? have you considered clinics with GentleLASE alex in that case? that’s considered one of the best lasers on the market for light skin. you can find practitioners near you by looking at the Candela website and using their provider search.

you will have to go to these places for consultations to determine if they know what they’re talking about.

Hi, I’m new to this forum. I’m a female and asian who live in South CA as well particularly in LA/OC area.

Kelly, I was wondering if you tried any of the clinics you listed above. If so, do you mind sharing your experience?

I never had any laser hair removal treatments before and would really like to have my underarms, full pubic area and perianal done.

I have read the FAQs and alot of posts here. Thank you so much for the details and information LAgirl and other contributors.

GentleLASE sounds great but I’m asian with dark coarse hairs and reading from the FAQs, I think I’m a IV skin so I’m not sure whether I should go for GentleLASE or diode.

I would really appreciate for personal referrals and recommendations. I used the search on the top right but no luck. If I’m missing anything or posted to the incorrect thread please let me know.

Please run a search for Los Angeles using the Advanced Search feature at the top right and expand to 3-4 years. There are lots of recommendations for clinics with all types of lasers. The most recent one is for Downtown LA clinic which has a GentleMAX which is both alex and Yag in one. That would be your best bet since they can try both and see what your skin can handle.

Thanks for the tips LAgirl and sorry for the delay response. I used the advanced search feature to look for this clinic that uses GentleMax in Downtown LA; however, I’m having trouble locating it. I search for several hours and read numerous posts but I couldn’t find it. If you don’t mind, would you please let me know the name of the clinic or doctor and I’ll google it or the link to that post. I’m hunting for 3~4 clinics as recommended.

I have been reading some reviews on citysearch and found this clinic “American Medical Aesthetics” in Santa Monica. I did a search on this forum but no ones talks about it. It has pretty good reviews and was wondering if you heard about it.

Be ware of Citysearch reviews. A lot of time bad ones are removed and good ones are made by employees and owners of clinics. I would look for more unbiased reviews, such as on Yelp where you can at least tell if someone has a lot of reviews of other things and is a regular unbiased poster.

Either way, we have plenty of discussion on LA here on the forum.

The post I was talking about is by “bryce”. Search for his posts. I think it’s actually under electroysis since he’s doing both laser and electrolysis.
