Hi, I am new here, and thank God for this forum. I am 30 year old female, type III, who had her first treatment on full bikini six weeks ago with Harley Medical, Chelmsford branch (UK). I have pale skin and dark coarse hair there, apparently being a perfect candidate. I understood that after 2-3 weeks I should have started shedding the hair, some would grow back , some not. My problem is, that I waited and waited, exfoliated with loofah, but no shedding ever occured, my hair just continued to grow everywhere as usual, with no “bare” period.I could have gone for another treatment after 3-4 weeks, there was plenty of hair. This is not about missed patches, there is no visible difference (i.e. thinning) on the area at all! When I called back to complain, the nurse refused point black that there was anything wrong with that, insisting that I would need several treatments for the hair starting to fall out. I simply cannot believe that all my pubic hair were inactive at that time, so none of them fell out. Even the nurse said initially they would fall out; now saying something else. They use Aesthera PPx laser, which got some really bad press on US forums. Their website is actually quite misleading, because at the hair removal section they do not mention the laser type, and although they mention Aesthera PPx laser in other section, they list it for other treatments (acne, vein treads), not hair removal. Am i being taken for a ride? I paid for 6 treatment package (had 1 sofar) and they refuse to cancel my package and refund me for the difference. P.S.
