I’ve just bought a Beautiko Epen, not used it yet and I was wondering do hairs have to be individually removed? I’m thinking eg of doing my underarms with one of the patches. Once I’ve zapped em can I then wax off the hairs or must they be pulled out one by one? That would seem like a lot of time and effort to me. Sorry if I sound like a bit of an idiot but don’t want to scar myself by doing something daft

Don’t worry one tiny bit. You can not possibly scar yourself with this nonsensical scam item. I’m sorry you bought this e-pen before doing research on whether it is effective or not. We have discussed this hair removal scam here, ad nauseum.
Now, if you are looking for temporary hair removal, just cut to the chase and wax. It will be less frustrating (perhaps?). If you have dark coarse hair on light skin, get your axillae lased and finish up with a true blue certified professional electrologist.
I suggest that you read hairtell a bit more, as well. You will save money if you do.

To say that you cannot harm yourself with such scams is wrong. I have a client who had someone try and use such a device on her chest, and she now has an area of her breast that the skin is dead. I would estimate in excess of a 1/4 inch in diameter, because someone told her that she could treat her with such a unit.
The person did not know what she was doing, and when hair failed to come out, she kept turning the device higher and higher.
Please do not use such a device. Hair is an excellent insulator and electricity does not flow down a hair shaft.
The damage from that kind of unit, is permanent, as she has had laser treatments and micro abrasion to try get rid of the problem and it still is there.
People can and are harmed by these scams. Please to not add to their statistics.

I agree, as I have stated previously on this site, if you had seen the scarred and pock marked penises, that have ended up in my office after some one’s failed attempt at home hair removal, you would hold a dim view of these things aw well.
