Is laser hair removal technology now at a point where new developments are minor and few and far in between? Is this the best there is in non-electrolysis type treatments until some other non-laser technology comes out?
Hi dear tempo. My answer to you would be… Yes.
Hello Dee! My forum name is tembo (Swahili for elephant).
Your answer is disappointing, but I guess I will wait for gene manipulation to become a reality:-)
My iPad corrected what I actually typed, tembo, to tempo. I apologize for not catching that. Of course, I know your correct screen name as we have had many conversations in the past.
If anything exciting happens, it will be at the cellular level, interfering with the messenger RNA. I believe Sirna, a small biotech company, was on to something where they had the biology part right and the chemistry part right, but they were having trouble with finding the best way to deliver the right ingredients to the bottom of the hair follicle.Merck may have bought Sirna and then all research stopped for their hair division. My memory is fuzzy on this one. I would have to search my files, but I don’t feel like doing that now. Anyone remember how this all came down?
