To electrologists that have female clients with hormonal disorders that cause facial hair growth, can you recommend experienced medical doctors/endocrinologists in NYC/ 5 boroughs that diagnose and treat such cases? This is for a teenage girl whose parents have taken her for laser hair removal for years now and it has not produced complete results. I tried to educate them bout electrolysis but it’s like talking to a wall.
Even if I convince them to try electrologists, I feel like unless they get her properly treated on medical side by experienced M.D., electrolysis will be viewed as waste of money by them since more hair will keep growing if her medical problems are not treated first. They have taken their daughter to a nutritionist and an endocrinologist before, but doesn’t seem that they’re helping her on medical side.
