Hi all,
I am looking if anybody can recommend a laser hair removal clinic in San Diego area…I’ve done a search on this forum and only got very little dated 2008, and apparently the person who made some recommendation has not tried the clinic herself/himself…
Thanks a lot!
Your best bet is to pick the type of laser that you want to use, then find clinics that offer it. Check their pricing out, and do a test patch or do a small area like underarms and judge for yourself really. If you’re skin type 1-3 or maybe even 4 definitely look for GentleLASE or Apogee Elite those will be your best ones to go for.
Yep, what skin type are you? If you’re willing to drive an hour or two, I can make a great recommendation with reasonable rates assuming you’re a candidate for the GentleLASE. I can also give you a warning about a location as well.
You should expand your search. There were posters from San Diego in 2005-2007. I don’t see why you would limit yourself to 2008. If anything, any clinic that lasts for 5+ years is a good thing in this business.
Thank you. I might be willing to drive for one hour and I think I am a candidate for GentleLASE. I am caucasian with dark coarse hair…
Thanks much!
Thanks LAgirl. You are right about searching older post, but am I wrong that the technology has advanced since say 2005?
Okay then, Coastline Dermatology is a location with pretty terrific prices and a GentleLASE machine. The staff is really nice and patient (except one kind of snobby lady at the front desk, but the rest are all nice). They are in Costa Mesa and the website is here: http://www.coastlinedermatology.com/home/
Mapquest it and see if it’s drivable for you, because I really love them so much more than the other places I’ve tried.
Either way, avoid Silhouette Plastic Surgery in Foothill Ranch/Mission Viejo. They miss about 40% of the hair and fight with you when you ask for a free touch up.
It hasn’t changed that much since 2005. It’s the same types of lasers and most machines are the same. And those who had 5-year-old machines then, hopefully upgraded by now.
