Need info about a male "Full Bikini"

My wife talked me into shaving everything “below” about a year ago
and I’ve shaved since. I’m seriously hooked on the lack of itching and
all the other benefits and so I’m thinking about laser treatment.

A laser center in town says this about their male Bikini:

“Full Bikini (5 Finger width + scrotum without g-string)”

The g-string is offered but extra.

I’m too embarrassed to call and ask and have them describe the procedure
in detail. Can anyone tell me that that really is? I assume it’s
everything but the butt crack? Does it include the buttocks? Does it
include the lower shaft of the penis?

I’m not too shy but I think I might be a bit uncomfortable laying naked
on a table while they work on my junk… how is this done, do they keep
a towel over the areas not being treated?

I’m skin type III and they use a Candela GentleLase Plus, is this OK?

Not to sound like a therapist, but really you should only get laser hair removal or any other cosmetic procedure if you yourself want it.

No, nobody can tell you what’s included in the treatment because it varies from clinic to clinic. That’s why you go in for a consultation and they can describe it in detail for you.

Be specific when you ask.

Medical professionals see genital areas all the time. It’s not a big deal at all, at least for us. You should find out how many male clients the clinic has treated. If you are concerned about being uncomfortable during the treatment then you should ask them how they handle and minimize this. If they are reputable and professional, it won’t be a big deal.

Yes, many places use selective placement of towels for modesty. That’s something you should ask. Again, if you really want to remove the hair then this is just a small inconvenience.

Please read the FAQ. GentleLase is one of the best alexandrite lasers on the market. When you go for a consultation, ask them to do a test spot to make sure your skin is amenable to the laser treatment. Ask for the settings they plan to use on you (fluence, spot size) and report those in this forum. If you are truly a type III, you do not want to be treated under 16J cm-1 with an 18mm spot size. However, penis and scrotum skin are darker and may warrant less fluence.

I do not believe the “Full Bikini” would include the buttocks and/or butt crack, however you can certainly have those areas lasered. I have and I’m very happy with the results so far. Especially my butt crack or perianal area; I feel so much cleaner and smooth to boot.

If you are interested in having your penis shaft and/or “everything” as you mentioned lasered, I’m pretty sure that would be considered a Brazilian. I’ve had a modified Brazilian, in that my sessions target my scrotum and shaft, but I’m leaving a bush at the base of my abs where they meet my dick.

As far as being naked goes, the first time I went in to have my ass done, I was nervous and my tech nonchalantly asked me to remove everything so we could get started. She didn’t seem bothered, so I striped and laid face down on the bed. That was baring my ass, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, except when she really got up close and personal with my crack. The next visit when it came time for my first Brazilian, I was anxious about exposing myself and becoming erect during the session. I decided I simply had to take the plunge, so when the time came I striped down to my birthday suit and reclined on the bed face up. I was already a little erect, but I couldn’t really do anything about it. She didn’t bat an eye and got to work. I really started to get erect when she worked on my scrotum, and by the time she got to my shaft I had a full on erection. I asked her if my hard-on was a problem and she said that actually it was perfect and she was able to gain better access with a little help from me. Since then, I don’t worry about being naked or having an erection during my sessions; my tech is very professional, so it is a non-issue for me.

If you and your wife like the look and feel of you being shaved, I believe you’ll both love the look and feel of you being lasered. Just be sure to do it because YOU want to, because after all of your sessions are done, it won’t grow back. You will want to ask the laser center if they do male Brazilians; it’s as simple as that and nothing to be embarrassed about. I’m sure they get the question often and will have a quick answer. If they do male Brazilians, they will laser whatever parts of your junk you want to laser, your balls, your shaft, your bush, any combination, or literally EVERYTHING.

BTW - I apply a numbing cream before my perianal and Brazilian sessions.
