Need help with laser stimulated hair growth !

Hello everyone,

Can I get ND:Yag laser treatments for my hair type? Will it work? I researched alot…and it says if used the wrong energy settings for laser hair removal it will stimulate hair growth…the person that did laser treatments on me was new and I think I was her first patient. She had no experience whatsoever and I think thats what caused adversed effect of laser on my face. I am thinking of maybe getting 2 or 3 Yag laser hair removal sessions and see if its working. If it works well then Ill do the full treatment and if any regrowth…ill transition to electrolysis then. Please advice me what to do. Ill post some pictures aswell.

The problem with Laser stimulated growth is that this may not happen during 3 sessions it may take up to 6 months after you have had session or even a year for the hair to come back thick and be stimulated I’d advise again laser on the face but definately for any body park like legs under arms bikini fab but not arms or face the risk for me would be too high on stimulation but I know some have been fine but lots have had this issue and it won’t happen straight away if it does.

I’d just go straight for electrolysis. There’s not that much there, so I’d expect it to take no more than a few hours to clear off your face and neck. That hair isn’t really dense enough for laser to be effective

I am in total agreement with Helen and Brenton.

For me, using a thermolysis mode like PicoFlash, MicroFlash , MultiPlex or Synchro, you could have all the visible bad boy hairs cleared in 3-5 hours. After that precious first, full clearance, we would see each other again in 3-4 weeks, in order to keep you looking as if you grew no hair in the first place.

If you really want laser reduction, just know that you may be successful or you may be disappointed. Just be prepared for whatever percentage of reduction you end up with and have a great Electrologist in your contacts list so you can actually finish the job.

I notice you have acne as well. Have you had your androgen levels tested?

I get acne because I wax and i get pimples when the hair starts to grow back…

Thank you all…ill just go with electrolysis…no point of taking any chances…
