Need help finding a friendly TS Electrologist

Mike. Good for you! I do believe in barter!

The IRS does consider barter income though, so if it is a formal arrangement, technically you have to pay real cash on the fair market value of the “income” you received. The point is, some businesses really formally leverage barter arrangement and so long as they are booking transactions correctly it is 100% legal. So you trans clients who happen to be experts at SEO management or web design, for example; you might just be able to barter your way to some free electro. All small businesses need marketing and other things and don’t always have the cash to pay for them. Heck if you send me on a free cruise somewhere I’ll treat your hairs on the boat! Just sayin’.

There is a number of great electrologist in the Los Angeles area charging between $60-70/hr. I can’t speak to the cost of electrolysis from the electrologist’s POV, but I’d have a hard time believing they’re making so little at $60-70/hr and able to live even somewhat comfortably in Los Angeles
Well, I am in the 'burbs of LA and the going rate is $70. Yeah, after taxes and other expenses, that’s not as much as some might assume! On the other hand rates in west LA are well over a hundred dollars. It varies by zip code.
There’s one I really like in Inglewood who’s $70/hr, and there’s another one who comes highly recommended on here from Westwood who’s $85/hr. Not sure what the cutoff is for West LA now haha. But I’m sure Santa Monica is over $100

Emendia … IRS? Whaaaat? Whoooo?

My Italian Grandfather used to say that an Italian only has two rules:

First, never pay all your income tax. And second (the most important), never eat canned spaghetti sauce.

Other than that, there are no rules! (Oh well, one more: in time of war … surrender IMMEDIATELY!)

 Ha Ha Ha Michael! Very funny. Are you sure your last name isn’t Corleone? I am doing a little pro bono work for a close family friend. When he asked how much, I told him listen “Someday, and that day may never come, I may call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift on my daughter’s wedding day!” He just looked at me and didn’t get the Godfather reference. Oh well.

PS - As for war, well I vote for staying out of it in the first place!

I know a person in Santa Monica who is over a hundred, and someone in Beverly Hills who is also over a hundred. $85 sounds cheap for Westwood as rents are high there - Good for her or him, they must be busy. The funny thing is, in many states with lower costs of living rates are the same as in LA! Goes to show you there are a lot of electrologists in Los Angeles. Eventually I will move away too.

THIS. This is about the only way I work! I never actually made the godfather reference to it though. Maybe I need more enforcers! And a cool dress tricked out with a rose on the lapel.
