Nashville Electrologists suggestions please!

Hi! I am new to the area and have been getting electrolysis now for a few months on my face and underarms. I am not really seeing a reduction in growth and I have been religiously going every week for 30 min to 1 hour sessions. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good electrologists in the Nashville area? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Also, quick question if I am going every week how quickly should I be seeing results? I feel like the same hairs continue to be growing, I am getting discouraged since it has been 3 months and I have been going every week.

You won’t see dramatic change in only a couple months - not even three months. Stay with it. There is nothing you can do about hair growth cycles. Stay with it. Stay patient. There are “layers” and “layers” of hair to come, most likely. It will slow down in the coming months and you will then understand that you are progressing .

It is good to get cleared each time or at least put in the time up front, with the goal of getting cleared as soon as possible. I’m talking about getting cleared of all bothersome hair. Not the tiny blond ones.

It might behoove you to choose an area and concentrate on one area at a time. Either do your face or your underarms. If you are a good candidate for laser reduction - get it on your underarms. If you don’t want laser, electrolysis can handle your underarms. My average first full clearing takes about 45 minutes to 90 minutes per axilla,

Really that long per underarm? It takes her only 45 min to do both…is that not a good sign?? Thank you for the comments.

That is for me… I use thermolysis and that is only for a first, full clearing. There is more new growth to come after that. The first, full clearing is only the beginning because of hair growth cycles. Someone using blend or galvanic will need more time to clear. All three methods are permanent.
