During June and July I decided I wanted laser hair removal. I chose a franchise which used SPL and an Or-Light machine.
On 9th July 2010 I had a test patch of 1 zap on my upper pubic area close to the bikini line.
On 13th July 2010 I had a test patch of 3 zaps under my left underarm at a second clinic.
For the few weeks that followed I kept an eye on it, and about 2 weeks later, there was barely any hair on those test patch areas. I did not have to shave my underarm in the spot where the patch was removed. I was very impressed and happy. As the hair regrew on the bikini and pubic bone, that patch stood out with barely any hairs there.
On 12 August 2010, I went back to that second clinic and had a full brazilian and also my underarms done for a total of $155.
It took about 35 minutes max for the entire treatment. It feels like a hot burning sting, but only lasts for that second. There is no pain afterwards. It’s just onto the next zap.
