So I needed to vent about this and well you are the only people who would understand why this makes me so sad <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I had the perfect LHR tech. She was very good, very affordable, would see me whenever I could make it… I only had 2 sessions with her but I was hoping to stay with her for a long time.
Well I called her cell today to schedule my 3rd session and it turns out she moved to another location. It’s in the same city so she’s local but the machine she’s working on now is made by Palomar. From what I’m reading, this is an IPL and it’s not that effective. I was being treated on the Candela GentleLase and was very satisfied with the results so far. I really don’t want to switch to a fake laser machine and throw money away when I know the GentleLase works.
So I tried calling the dermatology clinic that Heather used to work at but they are closed on Fridays and won’t be open again until Monday. I’m not sure if they even found a replacement for her yet. I don’t know if they’ll honor the $130/session and 6th session free that Heather was giving me. There was no paperwork or signatures so I just don’t know. I’m kind of in a panic. She was going to go up to 26 next time and I’m not sure if the new tech will go that high. I’m not sure if the new tech will be as gentle or use ice after each zap. I was pampered with Heather and now I have to deal with someone new who might judge me and look at me funny and make me uncomfortable. It just sucks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I am in tears over this and I’m sure people think of me as silly but it’s just so upsetting. All I can do is call the place on Monday and hope for the best. If it doesn’t work out though, there’s nowhere else I can go that’s local. I would either have to drive an hour away or switch to electrolysis and I don’t think I can afford that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
