my journey begins! prestige electrolysis in dallas

i’m quite scared. i need electrolysis on my face and i’m of indian descent.

it took some effort and i recently had my first consultation. i went to prestige skin care/prestige electrolysis on arapaho road in dallas, tx. the consultation was good but i dont want to sign up without a referral at least. the woman doesnt belong to many professional organizations. also, it was semi-painful. i could feel the gold needle going into my skin each and every time and i’m not sure if that can be expected. the good part is that my very sensitive skin had absolutely no reaction afterward - no scabs, a few tiny pimples that lasted only a few hours.

i’m also considering barbara’s electrolysis on forest lane. i will sign up for a consultation there next week.

anyone have a good referral in the addison, texas area? please?!

Electrolysis is NOT painless for most people. So I’m not sure if you have the right expectations. What you should be looking for is up-to-date equipment, speed and most importantly that you’re not feeling the hairs being plucked, i.e. they should be sliding out with ease. Don’t worry too much about a specific referral. If the above things are all good and you don’t have any bad side effects, then your treatments are going fine. It doesn’t hurt to sample a couple of other places just to compare things. Did you find out what method of electrolysis and what machine each one is using?
