My Hair Removal Journey

I don’t post much these days, but I thought I’d fill everyone in on my hair removal.

Knowing I was transgendered from an early age, I started facial electrolysis at around 16. My mother had taken me as a a teenager to get some eyebrow hair done (I had the worst eyebrows ever) and, before I had ever even heard of other TS people, I decided on my own that I could us electrolysis to remove my hated facial hair. I didn’t have the money to go at it full time, and it took me almost 10 years to finish.

I had an orchiectomy at 25, and really started a lot of electrolysis at the same time. Now, my my face is done, and I’ve also had the back of my neck and my fingers done, and I am now finishing up brows before zapping a few nipple and toe hairs.

I used to be pretty hairy before my orchiectomy, but after surgery a lot of that reduced. I still have too much body hair to be a woman, but what’s left is fine, sparse, and blonde. I am hoping it might reduce even more since I’ve added progesterone to my HRT.

Anyway, I love not having to shave my face. I still have to have a few little lip hairs zapped every now and then, but I haven’t had to shave, really, in years. I look literally 10 years younger (and I am 28!) and couldn’t be happier. Electrolysis, along with my orchiectomy, have done wonders for me.

We’ve missed you WeRNotAfraid. Thanks for coming back and glad things are so much better for you.
