My feelings...

Well I’m new here, but have been lurking around the site for almost two months now, and I find this site to be very informative!

About how I feel… I have had a war against my bodily hair for the most of my life, as I’m quite hairy, and it just does NOT suite me at all. I hate everything about my hair; I hate the feeling of having hair on my armpits, I hate how the hair feels when I wear a shirt, I hate hair induced sweating in the summer time, I hate the hairy look on all parts of my body, I hate havinig to scratch my ankles because the socks irritate the hair on my legs, I even hate my facial hair, as I can’t get a clean shave without having bruises all over my face!

Now I’m usually very positive about things, but when it comes to hairiness and having to deal with it, it truly hits my weak spot and can even make me depressed :frowning:

I love this site because it’s so inspiring; reading the success stories users post gives me so much hope, as I also started doing laser for my face and neck. I have my fingers crossed and hopefully I can also be hair free one day…

I may also start a thread about my success stories with my laser treatments.

Thanks for your post. I’m glad you’re finding the site helpful. We would really appreciate your story and possibly pictures to follow your laser treatments. I hope you read the FAQs and followed the recommended protocols to get the best treatments possible.

Thank you Lagirl, I will surely make a thread about it.

I’m soon to get my 3rd treatment for my face and neck, but I want to schedule my other body parts too. She has done my face and neck every 4 weeks, and I read that it was too short, so I think I will do some other body parts for my 3rd treatment in place of my face and neck.

So far the results are pretty good as I have pale skin and dark coarse hair. Hopefully most of it will be permanent

Yes, definitely too short of a time between treatments. When treating that often, you can’t really tell if it’s working. At 4 weeks, you shouldn’t have anything to treat if everything went well. Hair finishes shedding at 3 weeks and it takes another 4-8 weeks to grow out in order to have another treatment.
