THESE ARE MY PICS AFTER 3 DAYS POST ELECTROLYSIS.NOTE THAT FEW SCABS ARE LITTLE BIGGER THAN MY EXPECTATION…I THINK THE HAIRS ARE REMOVED SO CLOSE THAT THE SCABS MUST HAVE COALASED.

I have got my second clearance of entire face and neck on 27/6/2012 taking about 3.5 hours.It was after one month.Keep you people with update and my progress.
I am an indian origin girl with skin type 4.
I GOT INTO THIS PROBLEM AFTER LASERING MY FACE WHICH CAUSED PARADOXICAL LASER HAIR STIMULATION.sO LASER IN MY OPINION IS A BIG NO NO ON WOMEN FACE WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT YOU HAVE DARK COARSE HAIRS.STILL FOR FEW COARSE HAIRS I SUGGEST ELECTROLYSIS ONLY.
?? can you PLEASE share contact details of your electrologist?
I am really thankful to all the people in this forum who helped me and encouraged me for electrolysis…specially to michael,james,josefa,dfahey,stopit&tidyup and smurf…few others i cannot remember at this time.So far i have 2 3.5 hours session of full clearance…i am really enjoying it.I am seeing a great reduction too…so electrolysis work.
Mumbaigirl…i asked my relative but she said she cannot do any more work.

let me update…the central bruise on my neck has disappeared completely…thanks james and michael bono…I am so much happy now…I am really enjoying my electrolysis journey…When I enter into malls,I get a lot of attention from guys…my boyfriend sometimes feel jealous nd insecure…
I always preferred to have short haircut beacause i feel more comfortable…

when i take photographs,i can see a few black vellus hairs on cheeks which are not noticebale…but make me sick.Can those hairs be removed by electrolysis…i hope josefa/michael/james would help me and suggest me.
They can and should be removed. Why don’t you point them out to your electrologist at your next session?
Absolutely these hairs can be removed, that is, if your electrologist can see them. Moving the light or positioning you in different ways under the light will help the electrologist. Ask for or take your own mirror to the next appointment so you can give feedback to your electrologist as whether she got the hairs that bother you.
Hi dfahey…let me ask you one question…what magnification my electrologist should use? she uses an old magnification instrument.Although I am so happy regarding her skill that i feel in safe hands and I love her.
Hello everybody…I got my my forth clearance…took hardly 30 minutes…upper lip 2hairs only…sideface,jawline ,chin…I am really happy with my progress…will update you people.
Madhu, that looks really good! I couldn’t even see any scabs in the 3rd and 4th sessions! The scabs in the 2nd one (in the first pic you’ve posted here) are ABSOLUTELY TINY. Do not worry! They’ll disappear within days to leave you with soft, perfect skin.
30 minutes is a pretty decent treatment time for that area. Glad to see you’re making good progress.

Sorry for updating you people so late…almost one& half month…
I am undergoing electrolysis of entire face and neck for the laser indued hair growth…undergoing short wave diathermy or thermolysis…so far I am very happy with the progress.
I am going every two weeks/means twice month.
Session reduced to 30min to one hour.Scabbing is minimal now.
My neck is almost cleared now with only few stray hairs left.Face has similar story…almost 70 to 80% reduction since I started my electrolysis in march.
My aftercare…no care…i let my skin to heal naturally with no intervention…i am seeing some hyperpigmentation which i hope will fade with time.
Electrolysis is effective…Laser is really a difficult method to predict specially on face.You need to find a skilled electrologist…needs dedication.
My electrologist works on all hairs…in all stages…fine hairs which are visible to her under her magnification.
Anybody have a question or need any kind of assistance…Free to ask…I will help the person based on my experience which is good.

Today I got my another electrolysis session…took 2.5 hours to clear everything…post reaction was minimal this time…it was after 3 weeks interval…
I am happy with my progress so far…
It is really effective but require patience…
You’ve stated a VERY important point, Madhu. Patience is a rare commodity in today’s fast-paced world. 
But patience is as valuable as gold when undergoing electrolysis.
Yes…Caith721…Patience is really a key.
I was so scared of my upper lip sessions…But everytime,I have only 10-15 minutes of work…pain is much less than expected.
Seeing such a great reduction in hair density really brought my confidence back.
yesterday i went for another one hour sessions which lasted for one hour after 4 weeks…i am happy with progress.
