Mucuous membranes?

I have seen three electrolygists and only one would do my mucuous membranes (private area, including butt crack.)

Another claimed it would be “very painful” and suggested I just get a specialist to numb and laser it. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Did the electrologist that would do it work on you? How was your tolerance?

Yeah, but she’s very slow (she would literally do about 10 hairs an hour.)

Also, she moved away.

It burned and was really sore but that’s about all.

Hi Esther,

I see you’re in LA. I know Sabrena Smith does private areas and is quite fast at it. I’ve had great success with her. The only downside is that unless you can go in on a weekday, it may be difficult to find a chunk of time that works.

2 others I recommend in the LA area (though I don’t know if they do personal areas): Robin Harris and Dana Elise

Good to know Brenton. Sabrina is awesome!

Many electrologists don’t happily work on “personal areas.” My own “take” is that these areas are very difficult to work on: I mean, getting to it and positioning yourself. That’s probably why?

I have noticed that smaller/shorter electrologists have more difficulty reaching these “hidden areas” … whereas tall (and skinny) zappers seem to have less problem.

Interesting too that the epithelium covering such areas is nearly impossible to “mark.” Yes, usually a fairly good-size crust will form, but as you know “epithelium” heals-over and produces no “collagen” and hence no scar. Looks frightening, but it’s no problem … ever!

So, just “bend over” and “get 'er done!” The hairs “kill off” REALLY fast too. BOOM!

Don’t eat BEANS before your treatment!

Us oldsters have so many stories…some include gassy clients.

Michael… what do you mean by burn off REALLY quick? As in need less than the normal amount of treatment or you an be done in a shorter time?

Yoo …

Well, now I’m confused because I can’t see where I said “burn off really quick(ly)?”
