More hair after LHR ?! Is it possible ??!

Hi
I heard that if u treat areas with fine hair the hair will grow darker and thicker in order to be treated , is that true ?? The people who said it speak from experience .
I had laser hair removal on my upper arms ( one session so far ) and they have very fair hair . So what do u think is it true … should i stop before it’s too late ??

Oh and another question I’m treating my upper lips with GentleLase will it work ? Because the hair there is fair too . Or will it get darker ??

All answers are appreciated … Please help , I’m getting really depressed from this laser thing :frowning: I didn’t research before i had my first session BIG mistake …

It’s not a given but it has been experienced by people.

For my arm laser treatments, I have only gone up to the 3-quarter arm for this reason. It’s not a risk I want to take.

Hair needs to be dark and coarse for Laser to work. When you say your upper lip hair is fair, how light is it?

Yes, induced growth is very common on upper arms. And the new hair will likely not be coarse enough for more treatments. So we definitely do not advise treatment with laser on either of those areas. Laser is for dark dense coarse hair. You need electrolysis for the rest.

Yes, very true.

Do not treat your upper arms or face unless it is very dark and very coarse (like a man’s beard) or you will risk making the hair worse. It’s not that rare, it happens all time.

You can do electrolysis for these areas instead, it should be pretty easy.
