Mittons combined with epilators?

Anyone used mittons to make legs feel smoother after using electric razors? It would be to “smooth” out those hairs that were not trapped by that electric epilator.
What do you think of it? Would it work?

The only thing is to wait until any irritation is cleared up before switching to the other method.
