I realise everyone’s situation is unique, but I was wondering if an electrologist could comment on my treatment settings. I just started electrolysis for arm hair. I wanted to go to someone who offered flash thermolysis so the treatments would be faster and more comfortable.
However, my first treatment was pretty painful. I have some scabbing and swelling. I knowthese will go away, and I know to use witch hazel, etc. but I thought MicroFlash was supposed to offer more comfort. I have had blend in the past, and I couldn’t really tell the difference. The machine used was an Apilus Senior 2. The settings (from what I could see were): 0.76s, 41% power. I think the probe size was 3.
I’m concerned because I thought MicroFlash goes down to the millisecond level. Shouldn’t the timing be much faster? I’m confused, because isn’t 0.76s basically almost the level of regular thermolysis?
