Marking Hairs?

Hey guys, is there a way to mark hairs for my electrologist to see? She does a really great job for the most part, but there are some super thin black hairs that lay flat on my face, and I’m not sure she is seeing them. She gets everything around, but it’s been multiple visits that she misses these. As an electrologist, would you be offended if I did so? I was thinking some sort of sharpie or highlighter if it was possible. Thanks guys!

What I would typically do is put a little alcohol on my finger then feel around for the stragglers during the session. If I found one, I would press my fingernail into my skin next to it so she could find it.

I wouldn’t use a sharpie or other “permanent” marker on your face, but maybe an eyebrow pencil or some other temporary option could work.

Hi Zee
Is your electrologist removing hair for your entire session? Is there any time where she is NOT removing hair?

Here’s the point that I’m getting at. You go in for a session, it may not be possible to remove EVERY hair in the given amount of time for a session. So as electrologists we prioritize the larger, more obvious hairs first. If these are fine hairs, she may not be able to get to them until there are fewer of the courser hairs. So it may not be an issue of marking them, especially if they are dark hairs she likely can see them just fine, but one of using the time to give you the most bang for the buck /time spent removing hair. If that’s the case, she’l get to them, but you might consider increasing the time of your sessions to let her address more hair in the time given them.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case, but I have to ask! I’ll communicate with her and see what the case is. Thanks for your answers guys!
