Two things before I talk about your legs;
Laser, a real laser, not an IPL should do what it is suppose to do, HOWEVER, if you have hair that is not dark, dense or coarse and /or a laser specialist that is not skilled in using her devise, then results can be disappointing. I have seen many outstanding results years after laser hair reduction was done and I have seen a lot of hair still growing in years after 12 or more sessions of laser. The former is what I have seen more of, by far.
You say you have had random spots done with electrolysis for over a year? How many hours does this equate to and have you had all these areas FULLY CLEARED of all hair each time? The way to success is to CLEAR ALL HAIR and then return in 6-8 weeks to get the next NEW group of hairs, then return in 6 weeks to get the third group of new hairs. This plan goes on for 12-24 months until there are no NEW groups of hair to be treated.
Large Volume / Large Group hair removal:
Not many will do this. It is labor intense. We are doing microsurgery on hair follicles. Sitting for a long time.
I have done marathon sessions many times, on many clients over the years, but I have grown less fond of taking people from other states and countries because circumstances, beyond my control, have proven to be a source of unneeded irritation . I will, however, consider doing one or two marathon sessions only for those that live in my locale (who don’t need a hotel or a car rental), that can be flexible enough to blend into my time schedule, so I can still serve my other clients who need their planned clearance for smaller areas, in order to keep true to the plan.
You might want to find a few electrologists that work in the same office who could share you. That way, one doesn’t get too physically exhausted.
I will say that doing a large area that has never been touched, with any temporary method of hair removal, is the best you can get for your money. Let the hair grow for 4 months, untouched and then punch it good.
If you can’t do marathon sessions, your second choice is find someone that will give you recurring appointments for at least 2 -3 hours a week.
Lastly, make sure that the hair is sliding out after treatment. No pulling should be felt.
One thing I can assure you of is electrolysis works for ANY HAIR COLOR, any skin color, for any structure of hair. It will be hard to do and gets expensive, but it is 100% permanent. It’s the only thing on Mother Earth that is totally, no and’s, if’s or but’s - PERMANENT. I only wish there were more of us to serve the hairy.
