Malpractice Insurance

Hello All,

When I first started as an electrologist (with the assistance of all those on HairTell, thank you) I just latched onto the first malpractice insurance I came across that offered insurance for electrologist. After dealing with a mind numbingly bad insurance claim with my auto insurance provider, who I also just picked out of thin air the moment I put my hands on my first set of car keys, I have decided to rethink all of my insurance company choices from auto to life to home owners. Now, malpractice insurance…

Who did you pick and why?

Thank you all for your help!

The Marine Agency in NJ has very comprehensive plans.
Google them.
Also, do you go to any electrology meetings?
Usually you have lots of information through your local association.
What did they say?
Also, when students complete school, they get a packet with
information as to whom to contact for insurance.
What did your school suggest?

Jacqueline,

I use Marine Agency in New Jersey. Other colleagues find SASSI to be less expensive. Compare apples to apples. A less expensive premium may not cover you for certain things that you need for your particular situation.

Sorry. I feel like I asked a question and then disappeared. Everything in my life has decided to all go crazy at the same time.

The school recommended Allied Health. Anyone have any experiences with them? I will look into Marine and SASSI. Thanks!
