male chest hair how fast

Hi,

Just trying to get a second opinion I have started a course of thermoylsis with a local professional who has been operating for 20 years, they appear quite experinced, but they seem unwilling to give a clear idea on how long it will taje to clear my chest.

Just so background I am a European male (Scottish) origin the hair is quite thick and was made worse by waxing a few times.

How quickly can I expect the hair to be removed, the proffessional has said that the same hairs may need to be treated 3-4 times before they are permanently removed. Is this realistic? I have read some posts on the forum which indicate the electrolysist should be able to kill most hairs insertion is this correct?

They seem quite efficent at clearing the area and are willing to do 2 hour sessions hwoever I am getting substantial regrowth after an area has first been cleared.

Any help that you can provide would be great.

Hi Ray …

With your permission I would like to send this post to my last male client: he’s now finished.

I would rather have him tell you his 3-year story privately. He has had lots of experience with laser and (several) electrologists … e.g., the idea that hairs have to be treated many times (they do not). This way you can both compair notes. He will give you the real deal on this subject. It’s nice to hear from an actual client.

Ideally, send me a PM with your email address. I will forward this to my client. Remember, this will only be his personal experience and does not reflect the opinions of any others (clients and professionals) on this board. (CD!!)

Michael, sorry maybe for stupid question, but what does “CD” mean?

For ANYONE starting a BIG project, (especially with someone who has been in practice for “20 years”), I would ask the following:

“Have you completed a hair removal job like mine? If you (the electrologist/laser tech) have completed a case like mine, how long did it take?”

You see, there is no “professional opinion” needed with these questions and answers. This is simply a “yes or no,” and then checking client files for the answer. “Just the facts.”

More: About “not asking!”

If you are having any procedure done, e.g., by a physician, always ask the same question. For example: “how many face lifts have you done?”

There is nothing wrong with asking this question: it’s legitimate. Do not be frightened or think you are insulting the physician. IT’S YOUR BODY!

I’m sick, at the moment, because one of my clients went to a “new” cosmetic-type doctor (actually she is an OB-GYN that is now “branching out” into the cosmetic world … just GREAT!).

This idiot injected my client with filler … under her eyes (to “fill in the hollows”). Unfortunately, this particular “filler” (I will not state the trade name), is specifically NOT to be used anywhere near the eyes! (This information is even on the internet for the public to read!)

My beautiful client now has fat watery BAGS under her eyes that will be with her for about a year. Oh, she also paid about $1000 too much for the procedure.

Please, please, please be careful — and even be annoying — BEFORE you do any cosmetic/elective procedure on your PRECIOUS body! If you “insult” the doctor, that’s just too damned bad! The good guys are NOT insulted; they welcome your questions and are proud of their work. You gotta know!
