I have been using an Apilus platinum machine for almost six years, and over time I noticed that the probe tip would pass current onto skin contacting it without activating treatment. I eventually got around it by having the client hold the indifference electrode. Seana I recall had the same problem some time ago. I had a Eureka moment when I realized my metal MacBook would shock my hand when using the ungrounded plug, but wouldn’t when using the grounded extension cord.
This led me to realize the issue with the machine started when I used a cheater plug on my Apilus machine–nowhere for residual current to go. A grounded three-prong inserted into a socket, and voila, problem solved.
