"Make Someone Happy, and you..."

Christmas is here already, and I have a nice story to share with you all. My protagonist is a young beautiful woman of 21 years old.

Believe me when I say that she looks like a real princess from one of the tales of “The Arabian Nights”.

My story begins with an emotional email received on August/31/2013 which reads:

Of course, her words touched me deeply, and I promised myself I would do everything possible to help this girl, and also show how wrong was that lady who told her she would never be hairfree.

So in July 2014, the treatments began, and as we went forward, her nightmare was becoming a “story of the past”. Were three weeks of intensive electrolysis last July which, at least for me, passed very quickly. This is the look that had some of the areas where we started working.

BEFORE (July 2014)

There are more photos from other areas, but since they are areas that could be considered non-suitable for all audiences, I will open a second part of this thread into place, ie, mature section.
AFTER (December 2014): NOTE: During the 5-month interval between the before and after pictures, the hairs were not touched except to trim them.

My answer to her first email was this:

If nothing stopping us, the third clearance will be before October 2015, her twenty-second birthday.

She will be more than 90% hairfree in all of these areas!

I do not remember feeling happier with a case, as I have been this past week. Nothing material I may receive as a gift this Christmas get me happier than the happiness of being able to meet the expectations of this amazing girl. So my greatest wish for all Hairtell readers , young and old, men and women, professionals and clients: “Make someone happy, and I guarantee you that you will be happy, too.”

Yes, yes I know this sounds like a slogan of a famous advertising campaign, and that my dearest Michael Bono will probably need an extra dose of insulin because of such sweetness  , but I swear by the sacred memory of my mother that’s how I feel.

Also, I know Michael well enough to be sure he did this slogan his philosophy of life. Few people I’ve met are able to give so much without expecting anything in return, on the contrary, he gets upset if you try to return a little of what you have received.

So, thanks a million for my particular “Princess Rania” by agreeing to share your case, and also for the happiness you have given me.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

By the way, these are her legs 2 years after laser. I think the person who did this work and told her: “You’ll never get rid of these hairs!” should be on the field cultivating potatoes. :frowning:

ha ha … potato farming … YES!

Funny … but my guy just told me the same thing (except this from an electrologist). She said, “You’ll never get rid of your hair!”

What they should be saying is, “I don’t know how to get rid of your hair!”

Good going Jossie … (I will do this without the umlaut this time!)

Froeliche Weihnachten … to your “South Asian girl!” YES, a very common expression in “India!”

Wonderful Josefa.

Your client is lucky to have met you.

Happy Holidays

Thanks LDLD, but no, that’s just the opposite. I’m the lucky one.

Michael, what they should be saying is, “I do not know how to get rid of your hair, but I’ll find out how, and if I can not, I’ll find a way, or the person who can do this for you.”

Is not that what a doctor does when the patient’s condition not match his specialty?

(You would have done)

Great posting, impressive as always, Josefa!

Feliz Navidad y Prospero Ano Nuevo !

Yes, you DO have a point Jossie. (I recommend other electrologists ALL THE TIME!)

FAR TOO MANY electrologists “trash” other electrologists: their “method” especially. I’m fed up with it and I’ve always been fed up with it! It has not changed much in 40-years!

To promote yourself, you DO NOT have to tear others down! However, underlying our “profession” … except for a scant few … this is exactly the predisposition.

Electrologists say dreadful things about others in “their profession,” and the schools themselves promote a LOT of these disparaging ideas … especially those schools that promote and SELL one brand of electrolysis machine! (Most of them do! And, it’s all about MONEY!)

You see this rancorous behavior the time: HORRIBLE photos of dreadful skin problems, caused by “this-or-that-modality!” We all know what it’s like being on the receiving end of this …

I just read a piece by a notorious “nut-job” electrologist that “trashes” ALL methods … except her own (of course).

For myself, other electrologists (that have never seen my work) have, for 40 years, said that my method is SLOW and I cause “too much skin damage.” My clients would vociferously disagree.

Of particular concern is when one of our “lovelies” demeans someone’s method … or whatever … and has absolute ZERO experience with the method they are “trashing!” Pathetic!

Is it any wonder that the public is confused?

If the AEA wants a “new mission” … and they talk about “new directions” all the time … well this could be a nice direction for them.

(Am I “ranting” here?)

I feel sorry for all those who say you can not get rid of the hair with just 3 clearances, because the truth is that you can almost get it with only 2 clearances (if you respect the protocols and times):

July 2014:

December 2014. Before second clearing:

7 months after. July 2015. Before third clearing:

Before first clearing. July 2014

Before second clearing. December 2014:

Before third clearing. July 2015:

ELECTROLYSIS WORKS!

Without a shadow of doubt!
