m2f ts - side burns

Dear forum

I wondered how electrologists tackled the problem of how to make side burns look natural and feminine.

I would be grateful for any tips.

Kind regards

We select and treat individual hairs as we move closer to the hairline. That’s the beauty of electrolysis. We can select and refine an area, gradually, until the client is satisfied with the look.

cupcake, if you feel like you trust your operator, that’s a good thing. If she offers you a mirror after the treatment, and says “so what do you think of that, is that how you wanted it?”, that’s a really good sign. If she doesn’t offer you a mirror, ask for one. You are paying good money and if sideburns are an issue, let her know they are.

Look at other women’s sideburn area and decide for yourself what you want.

With my ts clients, I suggest that the hair that does not match the scalp hair be removed. For some people, that will take off hair that is level with the point where the top of the ear is attached to the face. For others, it might be level with the tragus.

The hair I’m talking about is “beard-type” hair - it is coarser and has a curl and will only grow a few inches. Often times, the back of the neck will have the same type of hair.
