I have light olive skin and dark hairs. I have gone for three sessions of laser hair removal on my legs. The first session the hairs looked like they looked when I shaved them, that they were just under the skin, but they did not grow back or fall out, just remained black dots. I didn’t have much hair grow back during the eight weeks between sessions. I also have areas where there are no dots. Does it sound like it may be working? My setting was at 45 . Thanks
The black dots are singed hairs that we call “tombstones.” They will come out eventually, but it may take awhile.
From my experience, any hair that is going to grow back will do so within two months of the treatment. After that regrowth is stable.
From your description, it looks like the Lyra is working very well for you.
