Lower body laser, upper Electrolysis

Hello, I want to get rid of my hair And after reading Hairtell (thank god) i realised that Hair removal it’s more complicated that i thought.

So i have A lot of hair, (well not so much like Diary of a Scandinavian guy) but still, Far more than i wanted.

I came to conclude that my best option would be do to Electrolysis to my upper body and Laser to my lower. Mostly because my legs covered with triple hair and because It would be a real marathon with Electrolysis. Of course my conclusion may be false.

Well Because everything is about money, my purpose is to get Hair free, but i really don’t want to throw away my money just like that, i want a result, and i read that so many people had mediocre result while wasting so much money, and in my case I really really don’t want that to happen, last year i worked really hard to save some money for hair removal and i can’t waste it with not result.

So i’m in germany in stuttgart area, there is a web page. Laderma.de they offer (both IPL and Laser) and full body packages an example: A single treatment of a Full body Hair removal costs 660 euros for men. (i’m a man) But if you do a contract for 22(4 years) treatments you pay the 11,5 of them 660x11,5=7590euros. in my case if i choose lower body (Buttocks, and legs) is 384euros (22 treatments 4416E)

Yes i’m willing to pay 7000 euros But i want a result to be specific i want this:

Upper body 100% Clear, buttocks 100% clear
Legs reduction of 40-50% (of course if they go to 100% clear i dont mind)

So what do you think i should do? if anyone had experience or an opinion about this laderma i’m will be happy to hear it.

About the electrolysis i read in a post about Iris Gminski, i did search in google, and i found that there is A kosmetik studio Iris Gminski Weil Der Stadt (City-village near stuttgart) Is that her that the people here talking about?

anyway if you want Photos i can provide you.

I’m man
Skin type II (i think) well i’m pretty white
Hair type: Black and thick.

Photo’s! Yes, please!

ok i do it tomorrow, here is 4 am  i’m going to sleep

  • I don’t think you should be breaking this up into upper and lower body. You should break areas up by coarse hair and not coarse hair. Coarse hair can be treated with laser. You can remove up to 95% with that. The remaining hair can be treated with electrolysis. Finer hair should be treated with electrolysis from the start.

  • Don’t search for clinics using their rates. The most important thing is the type of laser they have. What is your skin type? You need to figure out what type of laser you need first, then go for consultations to see who is willing to use good aggressive settings that will get you results.

  • Yes, photos will help.

Ok here are some Photos that i took just now.

Notes*: My room lightning is yellow
In real my hair seem more black and my skin more white.

Well i thought to do in some part in my body (Like Shoulders) Electrolysis Because it will be more cost-effective (I think)

If you want Full size links i can provide

Full size shoulder

Legs and chest should get excellent results with laser. Arms should get pretty good results as well. Skip laser on the shoulder. Laser won’t clear out 100%, but it will definitely knock out a ton of the hair.

I would recommend laser on all areas pictured, except for more sparse hairs on the shoulders because treating that can induce more growth. The rest should get a decent reduction with good strong laser treatments…possibly close to 80%.

I did not took photos on my Back- which look like my shoulder- should i do Electrolysis on it 2?
Ok so laser it is, Can anyone point me where to go (Stuttgart, Germany) and can someone Write down what Laser and settings should i go with? So that when i go to the Clinic or what ever it is to accept treatment only with that Laser model plus the provided settings?

O and something else, you said possibly to 80% can you tell me an aprox. how many treatments?

There is an electrolysis provider on this forum based on Germany. She may be able to help with some recommendations. Otherwise, I would Google clinics and start making appts for consultations.

We can’t provide you with settings over the internet. You need to find 3-4 places that have the best machine for your skin type (what is it?) and go in to get some test spots done to make sure they are willing to use aggressive settings. Then post them here and we can help you judge whether they’re aggressive enough for your skin type. Ask for joules, spot size, and pulse width being used.

Yes, if the hair on the back is sparse, I’d go with electrolysis.

Please read the FAQs at the link below. It will answer all of your questions above. For example, that you should expect to need about 8 treatments spaced 8-12 weeks apart.

Excellent, My skin type Must be II, White, burns easy and sometimes tan.

And the name of this provider on this forum is?

You should look for someone using an alex laser then, GentleLASE or Apogee for example.

excellent, thank you.
