Looking for a laser hair removal clinic offering GentleLase and GentleYAG, or just GentleMax. I can look it up on Candela’s website but I’m hoping to get some experienced suggestions this way. Thanks in advance!
Run a search for Los Angeles and look in the recommendations forum. There are several LA discussions.
I would recommend Aesthetic Laser Institute in downtown Los Angeles. I had one treatment for beard with Yag mode on GentleMax. They are running specials for new clients with additional 20% off if you buy now.
I believe this is the place that bryce is using. He’s also postnig on the forum here. He’s been happy as well as far as I could tell.
I got to a small place called “redefining youth” in glendale/los feliz that I can recommend (google the name and the business appears). The practitioner uses gentlelase. She is a bit conservative but I now have her now using 18J @ 18mm, so she can be persuaded to use effective settings. Her prices, I don’t think can be beat. No package deal, I pay $250 per session for chest/abs/back/shoulders. Last time I needed touch-ups and she did it for free no questions asked.
She does not do grids, double passing, cold packing or any of the other advanced techniques floating around out there, but I’m very pleased with my results thus far (about to postpone my 4th treatment for lack of sufficient hair).
Thanks for the report!
Hey guys,
I haven’t posted in a long time, but I hope all of you are doing well. I just saw this post and I thought I would give my recent experience. Well I have been getting laser since like 2002. I have pretty much always gotten treated with the Lightsheer and I have gotten great results. I did a couple of treatments here in Houston and Atlanta with the Gentlelase, but I don’t know, I didn’t see any results. The place in Atlanta, I found on craigslist, which wasn’t great, but I think it’s her fault as the settings were low. Well I have to say I prefer the Lightsheer Diode. I am currently go a place which is great. It’s called South Coast MedSpa and they have two locations in Orange County and Santa Monica. The bad part is that I live in Houston and I have to fly in for my treatments. The crazy part is that it’s probably cheaper to do this than get a treatment here in Houston. I got a 6 full body package treatment for like $5,200. I can also get full body treatments up to 2 years after my 6 treatments at $200 a full body treatment. I really like this place, because the nurses really raise the Joul settings. I’ve noticed a great deal of hair reduction. I called places up here in Houston and just to get 6 full body treatments it was going to cost me $12,800 and just for 6 treatments. I could not come in after that and get treatments for $200. These people are crazy to charge $12,800 for 6 full body treatments. You can check out their site at southcoastmedspa dot com. Have a nice day, Tex
How many treatments have you had during those EIGHT years of laser? You are the very definition of perseverance! Texas guys are tough. I could only wish for electrolysis clients like you that aren’t bugging me to finish them before 9-18 months.
