Looking for advice

Hi im new to this forum, 30/m. Basically im a hairy mediterranean type, and im OK with it, except I started getting a bit too much hair on my back and shoulders,in recent years. If i could permanently thin my leg hair I might be interested in that too. Without trimming, my legs are very hairy.
So about 4 years ago, I got a laser treatment done on back and shoulders. What I realize is the woman didnt know what she was doing, or just wanted more money. Instead of just hitting the thick patches, she did my whole back, even parts with fine hairs.
What resulted is the thick patches got thinned out by about 40-50%, but other areas the hair growth was stimulated…or the shaving Overall, it was a waste. I decided to not go back for further treatments.
Im wondering if I can find a good experienced practicioner who can redo the thicker hair, and also get some treatments on legs.
Also in the meantime what is my bet bet? A epilator? I dont need totally smooth, just a reduction in hairs.
Also, in the past I had a hair thinner. It was a plastic device that you would put razor blades in, it was great for thinning arm and even leg hair. I lost it, and I can find anything like it. Anyone know of a good hair thinning device?
thanks.

How dark are you? How coarse is the hair currently? Yes, you can get a reduction with someone who knows what they’re doing. You just need to do research to decide what is the best machine for you and then have multiple consultations until you find a place that you trust. Legs are also some of the easiest to treat and shouldn’t be a problem.

Shaving didn’t cause the hair to be any different. That’s a myth. It might have been a combination of your body producing more hair since you were 26 and that’s a prime age for that and the fact that she went over those areas with fine hair which could have activated some follicles as well.
