Any modality of electrolysis is suitable for any size hair on any color of skin on any color of hair. Whatever electrologist you choose, they will most likely be proficient at whatever they use the most. Some choose blend over thermolysis and vice versa. Not very many do straight galvanic anymore. My personal preference is Microflash thermolysis or PicoFlash thermolysis, however,PicoFlash can only be performed by an electrologist that has invested in the new Apilus Platinum epilator. I also use Blend, but not as much as the previous mentioned modalities.
The most important thing you can do is set up several consultations and get sample treatments to see how it feels and how your skin heals afterwards. Each practitioner is different, so that’s why you would be wise to check out the talent in your area.
Skill is always number one and equipment issues are very close to that. A modern electrologist is not hindered by the limitations of old equipment. Any of the three modalities you mentioned will deliver permanent hair removal, but some are faster than others.
