looking around

Probably none of you have heard about “Cheuler” or “Photoepilator,” or even “Depilatron?” These were just a few of the MANY frauds in hair removal.

I’m putting together Hinkel’s first tape/video on electricity and he talks about the various “quack methods.” But it never stops. There are, however, specific “tags” that should tip-off the consumer that a particular product is probably not going to work. I plan to do an entire “thing” on this … but just for the fun of it, see if you can spot the “tags” in this advertising copy:

Gentle formula
The key to Ellipse Intense Age Defence is our Intense by Ellipse PhotoSpray. Its gentle but effective formula enhances the level of laevulinate already present in our cells. Intense by Ellipse PhotoSpray encapsulates laevulinate in a liposome, which aids penetration into the top layer of the skin.

Intense results
After three months 67% obtained a significant improvement in the appearance of wrinkles.
Three months after a course of three Intense Age Defence procedures 60% improvement in skin density was recorded (up to skin type V). I “x-ed” out the product name, but the tags are still there.
