Only LightSheer would be worth trying out of all of those, and you would need to make sure that they know what they’re doing.

You’ll also have to stay away from the sun, use sunblock when you are in the sun, etc to keep your skin as light as possible for treatments if you want them to be most effective.

There is a link for GentleLASE clinics in the UK too: GentleLASE Alexandrite in the UK:

And if you run a search, there are numerous threads and discussions on clinics in London.

It would be great if we all recognised that ILP’s are NOT lasers.

Your listings of

Lasers available: IPL Quantum
Lasers available: VascuLight
Lasers available: BClear, IPL Quantum, VascuLight
etc

simply muddies the waters and is not helpful to people looking for proper laser hair removal. It may seem a little pedantic to you, but to us who have struggled to be recognised as LASER owners and operators, it is a big thing.

I also feel sure that you have been advised before that you need to go with an alexandrite, yet that is not mentioned in your listings.

LAGirl - crosstech has gone. We now have Candela UK - www.candelalaser.co.uk

I’d also like to just to chime in here. I would be careful with some of these websites when looking at the type of lasers or IPL’s that they say the practitioner has as they can be outdated or even incorrect.

I can remember one practitioner who I knew full well had a Alexanderlite and a nd:YAG and yet a similar website described the machine used for permanent hair removal as IPL.

Just a thought.
