London Electrolysis

Hello

I am a 23 year old male with quite a hairy back.
The lower back has thick coarse hair and all down my spine and on my shoulders I have shorter, finer hair but which is still very noticeable.
I would like to get this removed.
Does anyone know of any good electrologists in the London area who would be able to perform long sessions?? I’m currently in-between jobs and have a lot of time on my hands and would love to make the most of it by being hair free!
Any recommendations would be much appreciated. I am also willing to travel around the UK if anyone can recommend an amazing electrologist who’s worth travelling for.

Sorry if it is not the correct protocol to ask for electrologists like this. I am new to these forums and searching “London electrologist” yielded too many results for me to look through!

best wishes,

I will PM you with a name in Scotland. I don’t know if she wants me to put her name on the open forum, but I will check with her.

Please see photo below for an image of my back.

How many hours would I be looking at for it to be hair free?
In fact, its only now having taken this photo that I realise quite how hairy it is! :frowning:

Here’s also a Link to a more high res version:

Considering the backs I’ve seen in the last few months this is minimal! Yeah, I would say about half of the time I usually need (you have half the hair!).

I’m now answering your question directly (and this has NO relationship to any other person’s estimate; only my own. I am not saying that any other person should be held to this estimate … just me!).

I would say about 35 hours maximum for the first clearance. 18 hours for the second clearance and 10 for the final one. That looks like 63 hours total; probably just a tad “high” as I prefer to give higher estimates. Your maximum expenditure with me would be less than $4,500. YIKES!

Bad news: you are not “done” growing in new hairs! The lower back can be 100% permanently removed (forever), but you will experience more hair growth in the seemingly clear areas … in most cases like yours, the is probably going to happen.

So, you are young, very young, out of curiosity, what do your first degree male relatives look like as far as their back hair goes (father, brothers)?

If you want every hair removed, over a period of 12 to 24 months, with an electrologist with decent speed, you are looking at hours in the high couple digits to the triple digit numbers, that range under 200 hours worth.

Being that you are young, you will most likely develop new hair for the next decade or so.

Ha! Michael! We collided with this answer, responding within minutes of each other. You are faster than I am, but that makes sense because you are THE man!

Hey, Jack, how tall are you?

Dee Dee, I can’t think of a BETTER person to collide with!

I understand that I’m young, but I have seen diaries of men here who are a similar age / younger and have undergone total clearances - “Diary of a Scandinavian Guy” in particular comes to mind.

Surely if all hair follicles are targeted, even those with very fine hair, then no hair will develop later on? Either way, if by the age of 30 I have some more hair grow, hopefully it will be minimal compared to my back now, and I’ll just undergo some more clearances.

With regard to male relatives, I’m a mix of Indian and Caucasian. My dad is white and not particularly hairy (none on the back), My mother is Indian and is hairless. Her brothers (my uncles) are quite hairy, however I’ve never seen their backs so can’t comment.

Right now I’m getting quite desperate. I’m not enjoying myself. I avoid occasions which require me to be topless like the plague and never let sexual partners see me in bright lights.

A quick question: what does ‘clearance’ mean exactly? Is it the time taken to completely get rid of hair in one growth cycle?

5’11. I’m quite a small build though, for what its worth I wear Size Small shirts/t-shirts etc.

Did you click the link to see the bigger picture?

In my view I have the same amount of hair as others with full-on hairy backs but its just the mine are a bit finer.

Thanks for all your input, it’s so great to have a place to discuss these matters!

Yes Jack I did see the larger photo … If you dig back to the last few posts here you will see another chap from London that I worked on a few weeks ago … now THAT’S some real hair!

Funny thing about “sizes.” I’m the same size I’ve been since I was 18 years old (I did shrink a bit). I used to wear a “medium” but now I wear a “small.” I didn’t change, but the sizes did … to compensate for the over-weight population.

I have trouble finding clothes these days; most are large and EXTRA large … all because of the “fatsos” that make up the population.

So, Jack, be happy you are a “small” …er, I mean “medium.” Um, not fat! Stay lean and stay away from “McDonalds!” (So far, I have never eaten there!)

Ha interestingly Michael, whenever I’ve been to America, the Small size does come up quite large on me. Don’t have the same problem in the UK.

I have looked at your website and the services you offer do sound so attractive! I would love to be a client of yours but Santa Barbara is just too far away :frowning:

Yes, just a bit far indeed! You do not have such a big job and I’m sure that you can find the right zapper … maybe in Scottland? (Is that the “zappage place du jour?”)
