What kind of results are you looking to get? LHR is not great for facial hair removal on men. There is a high chance for patchy growth and it’s impossible to get to a point where you won’t have to shave at all if that’s what you’re after.

If you’re a type III, you’ll likely need an alexandrite type of laser like GentleLASE or Apogee. It would be absolute best if you have NO tan at all. That would be in your best interests to avoid burns and to enable the clinic to use high settings.
Generally, the best settings are those with highest joules, largest spot size and smallest pulse width your skin can safely handle. So it needs to be tested on your specific skin.
