I’m a (hairy) trans girl trying to purchase a professional electrolysis machine for DIY purposes. There used to be really helpful looking threads on here about finding legitimite electrolysis machines on ebay, but there hasn’t been one recently. Has ebay gone dry, or is it more that the forums are less active?
I know to avoid stuff like Aavexx and V2R, and that thermolysis only machines are not good for a beginner like myself.
I have a bit over $300 saved up for this currently, and I can save a bit more each week. I don’t need the latest models with the fancy presets, just something that works, and comes with everything you need (or incomplete with replacement accesories that can easily be found online). I’m not sure which accessories are compatible with which machine though, which makes things tricky.

But it’s only guranteed to power on, not necessarily work. With no returns, it makes me iffy. Also it looks to be missing whatever plugs into the center (a foot pedal?) and I wouldn’t know what a compatible replacement is.
