Hi! I am looking to learn electrolysis so I can help my daughters get rid of unwanted hair. I don’t want to end up scarring them and want to go in to this completely blind. I have looked at the schools in the US and they cost over $8000 +400 hours and add to that the cost of the equipment and travel. Most of those schools are working with Apilus. It doesn’t make sense for me to spend that much time and money when I don’t intend to go professional. (Unless I really enjoy doing this on my girls and feel like I have it in me to do it professionally)
During my search I came across one person who teaches a short course (about 20 hours) and is in the same state as me (Texas). It costs about $2000 which includes a uniprobe machine. This sounds ideal for what I am looking for, but I have no clue about this uniprobe machine.
