Lasering nose(inside)

Do clinics do this and is it safe ? thanks.

I have read, that they do this from the outside. However, I maybe wrong. I am not sure why you would want to remove this hair. Correct me if I’m wrong but i believe that hair serves a purpose and acts as a ‘filter’ for the air you breathe in. A trim should b sufficient.

Besides being very painful, it is generally not recommended that one do anything to nose hairs but trim them. You may be able to get some right around the outer rim of the nostril (prepare for a lot of tears and mucus), but treating them inside the nostril can be potentially dangerous. Infections in that area can cause serious problems.

Plus I don’t think you would find a practitioner that would be willing to do that! The same may apply to electrolysis too.

The pain in that area whether treated with either method, would have to be just about unbearable! Ouch!

Nose hair can grow quite fast so I can understand why you would seek permanent removal.

I don’t see where the hair does much filtering. It may help with bugs and very large particles. As an allergy sufferer, I can say the hair does not help me very much. My symptoms are better after the nose hair is trimmed very short, about 1/16th of an inch.

Panasonic makes a good nose hair trimmer you can get at Sharper Image. There are also blunt tip scissors that can be used.
