well, i had 5 sessions of lhr on all my body. right now, my hair is
not that thick and long anymore, but most of it is still there. i dont
have any body hair longe than 1 centimeter left. it isnt noticable
from a distance but you can see my hair from near.i am thinking about
switching to electrolysis.
-how many sessions do i need to go after having 5 sessions with
alexandrite laser
-will it leave any scarring, especially on my face
-my beard is softer but it is still there, i believe it will take
longer than my body, any experiences with beard removal?
-since i have hair on all my body, how long do you think a session
will last
-laser hurt like hell, will this hurt more? and also it takes me 15
days to heal after lhr, i get those scabs and brownish sports and
bumps, how long the healing will last?
please give an answer that is detailed and informative.
thanks
are you male or female? what areas are you looking to treat? electrolysis treats each hair at a time, so your expectations have to be realistic. Consider that on average an electrologist can remove 6-8 hairs per minute, and try to estimate based on the fact that each hair might need to be treated 1-3 times and that at any one time you are only seeing at most 30% of the hair you actually have (so you would have to multiple by 3 to get a proper estimate).
It also doesn’t sound like you went through a full set of laser treatments. Usually, at least 8 is needed on each to treat areas, and on a male face, more like 12-15 might be needed. How long has it been since your last treatment? You need to wait 3 months at least after your last treatment to really assess the reduction you received correctly.
You need to try electrolysis to see how your skin will react, but in most cases most post-treatment reaction can be avoided with proper treatment and good aftercare.
i am male
i havent had another session in 2.5 months
they were saying that the light hair that i have wont go away and nearly my whole body is left with that kind of hair.
my back didnt respond so well to the laser, because the hair wasnt thick enough.
thats why i am not considering having another laser session.
