I had one session of LHR in my body with the Lumenis Lightsheer Desire.
The biggest handpiece 22*35 which has max Fluence of 12 J/cm2 was used.
The skin was red that day and around the folliculles was redness for several days. The thechnician used 10,5 or 11J on me.
Is this enough for permanent hair removal?
Maybe some laser specialist can address those parameters, but if you have dense, dark hair and there was temporary erythema (redness) around the follicles then that is a good indication, especially if the hair sheds in three weeks or so. LightSheer has always been a good laser for hair reduction, as long as compression is used.
