Laser pricing drives me crazy!!!

Honestly it drives me nuts. I’m happy with the place I go but I’m always looking for alternatives and shopping around for different pricing. At my clinic for example, it’s $85 for underarms with GentleLASE (in CAD.). Then I’ll find another clinic that uses GentleLASE and it will be $170 for underarms. Talk about mark up there. Drives me crazy that pricing is so off like that. I know some places can be negotiated with but I’ve found it’s usually only on the first session where they say they’ll do one price but the rest will be higher, or they say buy their package.

I know, it’s ridiculous. Most clinics I contacted near me wanted between $400 and $600 PER TREATMENT for my lower legs (usually closer to the $600 range).

So I figured out anything near Newport Beach that offers multiple spa services is over-priced and I was able to find a clinic near me that is charging $120 per treatment (but I’m not totally happy with them and I might finish my sessions elsewhere when my package is up).

Such a stark difference!

The last time I did a lower leg job, the first clearance was between 3 to 4 hours. This means, that for everyting past the first clearance, one would be guaranteed to pay much less than what you have quoted for L.A.S.E.R.

Of course, your results and your electrologist may vary.

Lower leg treatments are about $200-250 on average at regular priced clinics. Anything more than that is too much. Don’t forget that these prices are often negotiable. Most people don’t try.

James, I doubt any electrologist can clear both lower legs in 3-4 hours, unless it has pretty little hair. And if they do, it will cost more than $200.
