Hi, I have fair skin (burns easily) and a mix of coarse brown and white hairs on my upper lip and chin. My upper lip also has lighter, finer hairs as well. I had electrolysis years ago, but never finished the treatments. The treatments were fairly painful and I broke out and scabbed after each one - pretty unsightly.
I had read somewhere on these boards that it works to have initial laser treatment to remove the darker hairs, then electrolysis for the light ones. Is this true? If yes, I was considering A&E or Dr. Farrah’s ofice for the laser. I have no idea who to see for the electrolysis.
What should I consider? Any recommendations for an electrologist in Syracuse?
