Laser on Beard~Please Help!

Hi i have some questions about treating the beard area. I have had it done 3 times now, and wanted to know some things about it. When you have it done, should all the hair shed? about 2 weeks after the treatment my face looks a mess because some areas dont shed, and my skin is pale and my hair is dark i cant really cover it up, ive even tried drawing on my face with a pen to create “shadow”… sounds amusing but its not! =(

The other two times i had to go in again for a touch up which basically re-done the face and still left patches which i had to let the hair grow long enough so i can pluck these areas.

Please Help, what should i do??

Most TG facial hair removal advice says that LASER is not the best route to go with facial hair for this and other reasons. At least with electrolysis, the hair you treat is removed. You just have to fight to get First Clearance and then try to maintain it from there.

Hmm ok thanks i will have to consider this carefully for the future. Maybe Laser would be good for just around the neck below the beard as this area is not as noticeable and seems to treat relatively well compared to the face.

Are you shaving consistently after you get the treatment? It’s usually best to leave it alone for a week or so if you can so that the hair can work itself out of the skin.

What machine, settings, etc are you using?

When you say you pluck, do you mean the hair comes out without resistance?

What % sheds, what percentage remains as pepperspots? You should really give it 3-3.5 weeks before any touchups. Shedding is not really done until then.
