Laser Hair Removal Yag 1064. HELP

So i recently got laser hair removal on cheek area and i was just wondering why the hair isnt really falling out like it did with my test trial. When i got my test trial the hair fell off within 10 days and it came out gently and didnt feel like i was pulling it out. However its been about 9 days and i tried taking one or two out and the hair just didnt seem like it wanted to come out. 1. does this mean the laser didnt kill the hair root, because during the treatment i smelt that my hair was burning. 2. will it come out on its own still.3. Around some of the hair folicules a small bump came out the second day. is this normal. 4. What other information can you give me about this being normal or not. 5. Also around the hair follicule it looks like the skin peeled and looks dry. ive been moisturizing. is this normal, like the skin looking like its peeling just at a few spots?

im not sure if its peeeling or crusting… any help fast please

First, relax! yes, it’s very normal to have red pimples after laser, especially the first time. Here’s a picture of my own face a couple of days after the first time I had laser to give you an idea:

These spots persisted almost a month. By the second go round they were nearly gone and I never saw them after that. So if this is roughly what you are seeing, relax it’s normal and they will subside.

Also you will not get every hair killed wth one laser session. I had 11 and I STILL have considerable facial hair. So please dont try and pull out any by the folicles, you may even be making that hair unavailable to laser for MONTHS. You wont necessarily notice them coming out either, if you are lucky maybe one or two will be apparent to you. If you are concerned none are releasing, ask the laser technician to gently wipe with a white cloth after the treatment. a few will show up in the cloth that “popped” during the laser session. It’s unfortunately not as “instant gone” as some prooviders would have you believe.

What is your skin like? Are you dark skinned or slightly brown? The reason I ask, is that is what a YAG laser is designed for. If you arent one of that skin type then it might not be the ideal type of laser for you. If you are fair skinned like myself, you probably want to look at other laser providers. This is NOT something you can count on the laser technicians to tell you, since their job is to sell as many sessions as they can, they arent going to tell you what they have to offer isnt for you.

im dark skinned. When my doctor did a test spot i could see my hair fall out from the spot, and when i tried to pluck them out they came out without a fight. why is it when he did the real thing that didnt happen again?

It’s one small area. You dont get quite as even coverage with the laser when you are working on the whole face… Again it doesnt treat ALL the hairs every time. Sounds like you found a good practiioner for your skin type. Just be patient, and realistic with the potential results. You’ll get therer, it just wont happen in a single session.

no im saying that this time the hair doesnt seem like its falling out. its been 9 days since my treatment and the hair still seems like its alive, growing, i tried to pluck one out and it was a lot harder to pluck out thant when he did the test trial( it came out easily)

basically what im asking is that, it this sign of hair not falling out normal. like i dont think any has fallen out?

As I said, you probably didnt notice the ones that fall out because they will will just fall away when you are doing something else. You dont spend 24 hours in the mirror watching all you r hairs, and maybe 1/10 will actually have been affected by the treatment.

also my skin is very dry even though ive been moisturizing. and their are these red marks right next to the hair follicle… im pretty sure thats not normal is it? what should i do? going back to the dry skin… is that normal to? like around the follicule some of the skin isnt their and then you can see a small circle where the skin isnt their.
