Hi guys, this is my first thread and I just want to talk about my experience throw these years with laser hair removal.
First of all I’m 20 almost 21 yo and live in Naples, south of Italy.
Since I started 2/3 years ago my first laser therapy I didn’t know as much as I wanted about this world.
Rapidly I just want to say that I’ve been treated for 6 teatments over some areas (upper back, shoulders) with no results (maybe a
maintenance) and after having spent almost euro 2000,00 (2.200,00 dollar) I decided to stop this treatments (I was 18).
After learning about parameters, fluence etc… I found out that MAYBE the previous doctor used unexact parameters.
Now, after 2-3 years (I don’t remember precisely the date of treatments stars) I went to another specialist that work very transparent and has no problem to tell fluences and other parameters.
I did the first treatment with this new doc on 03/10/2016 with the following parameters:
Device is: Deka Synchro Replay 2.4.2 premium and has the biggest spot on the market (up to 24mm) and very high fluence (up to 25j/cm for 20mm spot).
I’ve been treated with 20mm spot x 15j/cm2 and on the next treatment we will put fluence on 18j/cm, till we’ll reach 20mm spot x 20-25j/cm2
What to say about the first treatment, it was very painful but thanks to cryogen i tolerated it very well! The after treatment caused me redness and some edema but it was gone after 1 day.
The hair shedded and still are in 2-3 weeks.
I also went to an electrologyst to do a trial but she was too slow and in 30minutes she removed just 40-50 hairs.
Any advice about the situation?
