I really need to remove the hair on my face, and waxing cannot do a good job, and causes me to break out. i have hair on my chin, sideburns, neck, cheeks. i have beige skin, and it’s not tanned because i haven’t gone tanning since summertime. i have dark hair too. what should i do?
i don’t want to do electrolysis because it takes forever and causes scabbing.
and i plan to do other areas of my body as well with laser…anyone know of great laser clinics aorund…some chains? something…i want the best and have difficulty finding that when shopping around…
when i go tot the laser consulatations too, what questions should i ask?
what type of hair do you have? if it is mostly fine (not coarse similar to men’s facial hair or bikini hair), then laser is not necessarily the best choice. electrolysis doesn’t cause anything on the face with a proper electrologist. there are risks with laser treatments too if someone doesn’t know what they’re doing and not setting settings correctly (induced extra growth, burns, etc). you should read the FAQs first and learn all you can about hair removal. For a women’s face, electrolysis is often the best solution. It depends though. You need to give us more details. Laser also takes 8 treatments or so spaced 8-12 weeks apart, so it will take a while to get a good reduction too. Electrolysis just requires more frequent treatments.
You didn’t provide your location either. So hard to make any recommendations, though my recommendation would be to look for the best laser first and only do consultations there and stay away from large chain clinics (they usually don’t have the right machines anyways).
