If you watched Dr. 90210 on October 29 2007 (Dr. Will performs laser hair removal on Peter Brady) you noticed they used Palomar StarLux technology.

This system sends pulses of light into the hair follicle. The light is converted into heat. The heat then loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair.

The Palomar StarLux has been approved by the FDA for all skin types. It uses specialized handpieces which filter light from different parts of the spectrum. Each band of the spectrum has a wavelength that is ideal for different treatments, such as hair removal, sunspot removal and acne treatments.
