Laser buttcheek hair??

By all means, the person can go ahead and do it. But would it be a wise choice? No.

Laser is most effective on dark (dark brown or black) and coarse hair. I’ve repeated that so many times on these forums but I’ve found people seem to have selective comprehension.

I saw your other thread and I think the idea is redundant. Hair that is not dark and coarse (like underarm or pubic hair) will have a limited response. Obviously there are other factors such as skin colour, Laser type, settings etc which will effect results. But in the best case scenario, the hair still needs to be dark and coarse; attempting Laser on other types of hair is a gamble and one I personally wouldn’t try.

I could definitely handle 1 x month treatments. When I did Lucy Peter’s electrolysis on my face years ago… it was about a 2 hour session that I did every other week for three months, each session clearing the whole area. (I have about 200-300 coarse hairs on my face in beard/chin pattern.) I know I didn’t go long enough, but I just would have thought I’d see some reduction at that point. I have the hairs on my face memorized and I just didn’t see anything. That combined with the pain, intense breakouts, and cost made me stop doing it at the time.[/quote]

It sounds like you understand this now, but you’d need to continue that once-a-month thing for at least 12 months to see a difference because hair grows in cycles.
